Henkel Introduces New Loctite® High Temperature Threadlockers and Thread Sealant for Asia-Pacific
Henkel Asia-Pacific today launches its new range of Loctite® High Temperature High Strength Threadlockers and Thread Sealant, which are specially innovated to withstand extreme heat and stress of up to 350oC without degrading. These new products include Loctite® 2422 High Temperature Medium Strength and Loctite® 2620 High Temperature High Strength Threadlocker, Loctite® 5770 High Temperature Thread Sealant and Loctite® 2047 High Lubricity High Strength Threadlocker.
Standard anaerobic threadlockers and thread sealants are effective at maximum continuous temperatures of 150°C. Loctite has taken this temperature threshold to the next level by formulating their products to withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of up to 350°C. Loctite® 2422 High Temperature Medium Strength Threadlocker and Loctite® 2620 High Temperature High Strength Threadlocker are specifically designed for high temperature applications and available in an easy to use paste-like format with convenient syringe. Loctite® 5770 High Temperature Thread Sealant is formulated to seal threaded pipe fittings through continuous exposure to heat of up to 280°C.
With these new high temperature Threadlockers and Thread Sealants, users can now also apply Loctite® world renown innovation, reliability, protection and cost savings to their high heat applications/industries such as industrial ovens, boiler rooms, heat treat operations, refineries, pulp and paper, metal fabrication, glass manufacturing and steam lines.
In addition, Henkel Asia-Pacific launches Loctite® 2047 High Lubricity High Strength Threadlocker to assist users assemble larger fasteners. The lubricating properties of this product decrease friction and allow proper clamp load to be achieved and maintained even through continuous exposure to shock, vibration and thermal cycling.
